F.A.Q about pressure washing and soft washing

What chemicals do you use, and are they safe for plants, animals, and the enviorment?
While cleaning your property, we use a variety of chemicals and detergents. Depending on what kind of staining we clean determines what we will be using. Our typical cleaner for organic staining is a sodium hypochlorite mix with water and a surfactant, although we also use degreasers and acids for different types of inorganic staining. When used properly these chemicals will not harm your plants, animals or the environment.
Do i have to be home when you wash my house?
No, you do not need to be home while we wash unless the work to be completed involves us going inside the house at all, such as interior window cleaning, or cleaning screened in balconies.
how and when do i pay?
To pay for services, we recommend cash, check, or Zelle payments. we do offer an online payment method through our invoices, but a 4% processing fee will be applied, let us know before we begin working if you plan to pay with card through invoice. All payments are due at the end of service, per our terms of service agreement attached to every estimate.
Can pressure washing damage my house?
Using high pressure on stucco, siding, and wood is not recommended and can damage your home when not performed by a trained professional. We use soft washing techniques to wash your house, and roofs.
What is soft washing?
Soft Washing is a technique using low pressure/ no pressure systems to spray on our cleaning solutions and rinse them off using low/no pressure to gently wash away mold, algae, dirt and grime from roofs, and houses
Will you pressure wash our roof?
No, Above Excellent Services will not pressure wash your roof. We use soft washing methods to safely and effectively clean roofs. Pressure washing a roof can lead to damages such as, water intrusion under the tiles, cracked or broken tiles, major granular loss on asphalt shingles, and overall pressure washing alone will not kill off mold/algae spores resulting in the mold/algae growing back faster.
When soft washing a roof how do you protect my plants from over spray.
When cleaning roofs, we use a more concentrated solution of sodium hypochlorite which can burn plants. To protect your property, we tarp sensitive landscaping and always have a ground guy watering all landscaping and fixtures where we spray. We also make sure to bag up downspouts to catch any possible run off from flowing into your plant beds.
